Presentation guidelines

Oral presentations

  • Oral presentations should be max 15 minutes long plus 5 minutes for discussion.
  • Only presentations in the format of PowerPoint or PDF can be accepted. Presentations will be run on Windows machines.
  • In order to make fonts, video and audio files run properly, please make sure that these are fully embedded and not only linked.
  • Presenters will be required to submit their presentation on a USB drive, memory card, or via email by their arrival at the congress.

Poster presentations

  • Poster size should be between A1 (59.4 × 84.1 cm) and A0 (84.1 × 118.9 cm).
  • Poster orientation must be portrait.
  • Presenters are responsible for printing their own posters.
  • Presenters will be required to submit their printed poster by their arrival at the congress.

Submission guidelines

  • Abstracts can be submitted until 25 July 2025. Unfortunately, later submissions cannot be considered.
  • Abstracts should only be submitted using the online form on the next page.
  • Presenting authors must be registered participants. Only abstracts from authors who have paid their registration fees will be scheduled for presentation.
  • Abstracts will be blind-reviewed by the Scientific Committee. Authors will be informed via email as soon as a decision on their submission has been made.
  • We aim to give as many researchers as possible the opportunity to present their work. Therefore, the Scientific Committee reserve the right to limit the number of submissions made by the same presenting author to one oral plus one poster presentation.
  • Authors can select between an oral or poster presentation. However, the Scientific Committee reserve the right to change the communication from oral to poster status. We will inform the author if this decision is made.
  • For submissions to special symposia please select the appropriate symposium in the form.
  • Abstracts must be written in English, and include a title, author name(s) and affiliation(s).
  • The abstract title should not exceed 300 characters (including spaces).
  • The abstract text should not exceed 2000 characters (including spaces and line breaks).
